Halfling Settlement

Description

Littler Bogbrine was a Halfling settlement in Nurfel, founded not long after its predecessor Little Bogbrine was destroyed in a landslide.

The original Bogbrine village was founded by the Wiseacre family, who remained prominent figureheads of the community until the year 1364 of the Seventh Era, when they were killed in their home in Littler Bogbrine by a witch under the employ of the lich Taqaaz Eilagh.

Littler Bogbrine hosted an annual festival of The Rotting, a celebration of the end of the harvest season, and the beginning of preparations for winter. The festival attracted visitors from all over Nurfel and Fëaforn.

On the edge of the village was an inn named Hexed Hawk House, which was a popular spot for locals and visiting travellers alike.

Several Minotaurs lived among the halflings of Littler Bogbrine throughout its history. As a result, many of the doors and ceilings in the village's buildings were much taller than one might have expected for a halfling settlement.
